Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Barbados Slim (ranked 1763 p4p, 3141 weight class) and Daaniel Teteny (ranked 207 p4p, 336 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barbados Slim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 24 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daaniel Teteny!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slim throws a head kick but Teteny moves out of range.
Slim lands a nice looking kick to the body. Teteny takes a step back to recover.
Slim connects with the punch.
Teteny changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Slim tries to avoid it but Teteny manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Slim to the ground. Slim escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Slim jabs Teteny to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Slim takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Daaniel Teteny has been cut.
Slim lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Teteny fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Slim avoids it really well and circles away.
Slim throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Teteny.
Slim appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Barbados Slim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daaniel Teteny.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slim fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Teteny has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Teteny doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Slim counters with a stiff right hand.
Teteny fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Slim scores with a leg kick.

Nice body punch from Slim - that landed with a thud.
Slim lands an uppercut.
Teteny is looking for a takedown.

Slim unloads a knee to the mid-section.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Slim tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Slim scores with a nice hook to the head.
Slim with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Teteny goes for a takedown attempt but Slim pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Slim.
Slim stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Slim wants it to stay on the feet.
Teteny gets tackled into the cage by Slim. Slim maintains the clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Slim.
I was talking to Slim's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Slim with a knee to the head.
Slim lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Teteny is rocked!
Slim digs a right hand underneath Teteny's ribcage. Teteny let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Teteny is still on wobbly legs! Can Slim finish him?
Slim creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Teteny with a big uppercut! Teteny tries to clinch up but Slim pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Teteny to the mat! Teteny covers up and Slim unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Barbados Slim!
An out of breath Barbados Slim thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
