Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ernesto Hoost (ranked 3819 p4p, 3833 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ernesto Hoost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Jones! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoost tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range. Hoost clinches up against the cage. Hoost lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Hoost swings wildly with an uppercut but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it. Jones is trying to trip Hoost. He has hold of a leg but Hoost is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jones persists though and gets the takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Jones slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Jones content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Jones won't allow Hoost to get back to his feet. Jones landing some decent shots from guard. Hoost is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones stands up from guard. Let's bang! Jones dives in and scores a takedown into Hoost's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Jones is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Jones gets to his feet. Hoost looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoost wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance. Hoost tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it. Ernesto Hoost is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A momentary lapse in concentration from Hoost enables Jones to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hoost manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Jones not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hoost is looking to stand back up but Jones counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Hoost. Jones is controlling the pace.
Jones stops Hoost from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jones is taking a breather. Hoost says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoost wants to get back to his feet. Hoost pushes Jones off but Jones dives into side control.
Jones landing a few strikes. Hoost tries to escape but Jones is in control. Jones tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Hoost knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Jones is chipping away with strikes.
Jones prevents Hoost from escaping the position. Jones controlling from side mount. Hoost wants to get back to his feet but Jones drags him back down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoost takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jones controls the position from side control. Jones stands up and beckons Hoost to his feet. Jones forces Hoost back against the cage and clinches. Jones lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Jones has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Jones looking to control and managing it successfully. Jones landing punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Jones has isolated one of Hoost's arms. Hoost looking to fight him off but Jones twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jon Jones! A relieved looking Jon Jones thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
