Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rojesterman Haynes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Magomed Magomedsharipov!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedsharipov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Haynes sprawls well. Haynes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Magomedsharipov gets slowly back to his feet.
Haynes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Magomedsharipov's waist but Magomedsharipov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Haynes off to one side.
Haynes tries for a takedown but Magomedsharipov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Magomedsharipov drives through with a takedown into guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Magomedsharipov working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Magomedsharipov pushes down on Haynes's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Haynes is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Magomedsharipov in particular looking to stall.
Magomedsharipov is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Haynes trying to hold on to Magomedsharipov's head to control him but Magomedsharipov postures up.
Magomedsharipov is controlling the pace.
Magomedsharipov's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Let's hope that Magomedsharipov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Haynes is trying to control but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Haynes looking for submissions off his back.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Magomedsharipov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Magomedsharipov is looking for a kimura here.
Magomedsharipov uses his free foot to push down on Haynes's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Haynes.
Haynes is breathing heavily.
Magomedsharipov looking to control and managing it successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Magomedsharipov has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Haynes's face.
Haynes is in a horrible position here. Magomedsharipov smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Haynes is wriggling around trying to escape.
Haynes is bucking up trying to escape but Magomedsharipov cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Magomedsharipov connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Magomedsharipov looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Magomedsharipov postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Haynes looks a forlorn figure.
Haynes is rocked!
Magomedsharipov quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Magomedsharipov but it's paid off an Haynes is forced to tap! Nice work by Magomedsharipov.
