Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Muharib Xornimada!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Jones misses.
Xornimada fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jones to the ground. Xornimada is now in Jones's guard.
Jones looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Xornimada has picked Jones up and slammed him! Jones can't keep hold of the triangle and Xornimada manages to pass to side control!
Xornimada throws an elbow but Jones slips to the side and avoids it well.
Xornimada connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Jones some visible discomfort.
Jones tries to buck Xornimada off but Xornimada is having none of it.
Jones managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Xornimada.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones keeps Xornimada under control for a moment.
Xornimada thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Jones's coaches at Shut Up & Train! have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Xornimada accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Xornimada arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Jones's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
