Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Weichung Li (ranked 2816 p4p, 2662 weight class) and Travis Guenette (ranked 311 p4p, 296 weight class). Guenette is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Only Thing They Fear Is You. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guenette shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Li as he avoids it easily.

Weichung Li has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Travis Guenette.

Li makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Li.
Li bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Guenette's guard.
Guenette is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Li is aware though and is defending well.

Li got a little sloppy there for a moment and Guenette has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Li has managed to get both his arms back between Guenette's legs - danger averted.

Li is working Guenette over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Li gets to his feet and stands over Guenette, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Guenette felt that one! Li unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Guenette from any more punishment!
