Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corbin Good (ranked 4859 p4p, 25324 weight class) and Owen Wall (ranked 466 p4p, 524 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Good might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Good Times, Bad Times - Led Zeppelin. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corbin Good! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Owen Wall! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wall lands a glancing blow to the side of Good's head. Wall scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Wall tries a head kick but it misses.
Good has Wall up against the cage in a clinch.
Wall is trying to break free. A frustrated look appears on Wall's face as he tries to break the clinch. Good gets a trip takedown into half guard. Good content to control rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wall is trying to stand.
Good will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if Good is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Wall is trying to stand up here but Good is controlling him well. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Good performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wall wants to land a leg kick but Good is out of range. Good misses with a looping right. Wall throws a jab but it's blocked by Good. Good seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Wall pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wall fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Wall manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Good clinches up against the cage. Wall breaks the clinch.
Wall throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Corbin Good has been cut. Good keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wall. Wall throws a sloppy head kick and Good counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Wall! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wall wants to get back to his feet. Good is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Wall's shoulder. That is not cool. Wall should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Good prevents Wall from escaping the position. Good just content to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Wall is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Wall taking a bit of punishment here - Good scoring with strikes. Good taking a breather here. Good tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Good takes a little break here. Wall wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Wall is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Good has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wall looks winded!
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Wall thows a leg kick but Good checks it and Good counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Wall tries to kick Good off in order to stand up. Good Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Wall wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Wall has eaten all the pies! Good is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Good seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wall for as long as he can get away with. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Corbin Good will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Corbin Good's cut. That's time! Good's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Good shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Wall wants to get back to his feet.
Good is pressing down on Wall's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wall is holding on for now. Good stalling. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. This is a sustained period of stalling by Good. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wall manages to escape and get back to his feet!
That's one minute gone in the round. Wall misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wall throws a head kick that misses. Wall thows a leg kick but Good checks it and Good counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Good content to control rather than advance. Corbin Good overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Good stops Wall from getting back to his feet.
Good wants to pass the guard but Wall is defending well. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. A punch combination from Wall misses. Good appears to be looking for a big counter. Good on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wall. Wall obviously looking to wear him down.
Good throws out a loose jab but Wall uses good head movement to avoid it. Wall works Good's body with a nice hook. Owen Wall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wall throws a leg kick and Good counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Good stands up over Wall, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Wall can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Good controls the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wall wants to stand up but Good is controlling him. Wall is breathing heavily. Good is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Wall is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Good is controlling him.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Wall throws a leg kick and Good counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wall thinking. Good looking to score a takedown here. Wall is defending well but Good drives through and ends up in Wall's guard. Good sitting in guard, not really doing much. Wall is looking to stand up but Good isn't so interested in that idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Good is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Good stops Wall from standing up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Good looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Good looking to pass the guard.

Corbin Good dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Corbin Good's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Good uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Wall has time to react. Wall tries a head kick but it misses.
An attempted straight right counter from Good misses the target. Wall throws a leg kick that is checked and Good counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wall has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Good has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Wall has had enough of the clinch but Good keeps him there for the moment. Wall wants to get back to striking at distance but Good won't allow it.

Owen Wall seems to be getting the better of the standup. Wall throws a low kick but it's checked well by Good. A head kick by Wall misses and Good counters with a takedown into side control. Wall wants to get back to his feet but Good is dominant here and he's now got Wall's back! Wall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wall is trying to get back to his feet but Good has full control of the position and if anything, Wall has just worked his way into a worse spot.
That's one minute gone in the round. I would not like to be Wall right now.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wall is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Wall is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it. Wall throws a leg kick so Good counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Good controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Good prevents Wall from getting back to his feet. Good looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Good stops Wall from standing up. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Good is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Wall throws a sloppy head kick and Good moves out of range easily. Good throws a big counter combination but Wall scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Good takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Owen Wall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A low kick from Wall is predictable there and Good counters with a takedown into side control. Good decides to stand back up. Wall misses with a low kick. Good fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wall, pushing him back against the cage. Owen Wall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Good gets a trip takedown into half guard. Good is taking a breather. Wall says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Corbin Good is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
And that's the end of the fight! Corbin Good showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Good, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Corbin Good! Corbin Good opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
