Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikora Tama (ranked 1397 p4p, 2326 weight class) and Karel Sup (ranked 180 p4p, 273 weight class). Tama's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Haka War Dance. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nikora Tama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Karel Sup! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tama shoots in for a double leg but Sup sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sup drops his hands momentarily and Tama takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Tama scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Tama missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Tama is trying to control the action in half guard but Sup is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tama throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Tama has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Tama is keen to just control but Sup is a slippery customer. Tama is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sup is concentrating on defense, preventing Tama from advancing position. Tama wants to pass to mount but Sup is defending the position. Sup tries to roll over but Tama keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tama seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tama wants to control but Sup is keeping him busy. Well, if Tama is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Sup keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Tama wants to pass to mount but Sup is defending the position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Tama lands a nice short elbow. Tama is looking to take a break and control but Sup is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sup is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sup on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Sup is looking to control Tama's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sup avoid being mounted? Tama throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Sup is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Tama jumps into side control! Tama throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Tama has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sup is trying to improve his position. Sup taking punishment in the form of punches.
Sup takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Tama connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Sup some visible discomfort.
Sup prevents Tama from improving position. The ground and pound from Tama seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sup manages to work his way to half guard, despite Tama's best efforts. Tama lands a big elbow - Sup is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Tama!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nikora Tama!
