Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mustafa McBeth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bernard Krakowski! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McBeth bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. McBeth lands with a cross. McBeth walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. We've been told by McBeth's head coaches at BronkĀ“s GYM that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Krakowski misses with a left hand and McBeth counters with a straight punch to the midsection. McBeth staying out of range there. McBeth throwing a counter right hand but Krakowski manages to avoid it. Krakowski lands with a good body shot. Krakowski misses with a body shot
enabling McBeth to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Bernard Krakowski has been cut. McBeth avoids the body shot from Krakowski.
A jab from Krakowski misses. It looked like McBeth wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. A cross from McBeth lands. Krakowski takes one on the button. This has been an exciting period of action! Krakowski uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McBeth. McBeth throws out a loose jab but Krakowski uses good head movement to avoid it. Krakowski rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McBeth counters with a straight right hand.
Krakowski is rocked! McBeth throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Krakowski. McBeth displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Krakowski throws out the jab. McBeth lands a nice hook to Krakowski's body. Krakowski takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. McBeth lunges at Krakowski with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Krakowski's hand. McBeth connects with a crisp jab. Krakowski is still on wobbly legs! Can McBeth finish him? McBeth throws a hook but Krakowski blocks it. Krakowski seems to have recovered his senses. Krakowski rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McBeth counters with a nice right hand that sends Krakowski toppling to the canvas! Krakowski scrambles and gets back to his feet - can McBeth finish him?! A looping hook to the body misses from Krakowski. McBeth does a little dance to reset his feet. McBeth drops Krakowski with a big left hand! Krakowski is injured, injured bad! McBeth jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
