The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Corona moves in looking to clinch but Gaul pushes him off.
Gaul circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gaul darts in and clinches Corona up against the cage.
Corona is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Gaul to keep the fight standing.
Corona jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gaul walks away with a smile on his face. Corona gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Gaul gets tackled into the cage by Corona. Corona maintains the clinch.
Corona tries to pull guard but Gaul won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juan Corona. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Corona jumps guard but Gaul stands there with Corona around his waist. Corona gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gaul gets control of Corona's arms and successfully pulls guard. Gaul will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Corona paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Gaul - great work!
