The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Dresner closes the distance and clinches. Dresner is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Solo can't fight it off and eventually Dresner manages to take the fight to the floor. Solo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Our spies down at at Marquis Training Center inform us that Dresner has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Dresner tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dresner sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Dresner wants to improve his position but Solo is controlling well.
