Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Sarinnen (ranked 512 p4p, 1178 weight class) and Bernard McCurtney (ranked 45 p4p, 98 weight class). McCurtney is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by SMDH. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Samuel Sarinnen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bernard McCurtney! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from McCurtney does it's job there. Sarinnen pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces McCurtney back to the cage. Sarinnen follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. McCurtney jabs at Sarinnen's body. McCurtney misses with a body shot.
McCurtney scores with a hook to the body. Sarinnen takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Sarinnen lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sarinnen. Sarinnen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. McCurtney is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Sarinnen with a body shot. McCurtney with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

and McCurtney counters with a one-two to the body. Sarinnen misses with a wild body shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sarinnen throws a jab but it's blocked by McCurtney. Sarinnen throws the left hand but McCurtney avoids the punch easily. McCurtney on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

A jab from Sarinnen finds it's way through McCurtney's defenses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Samuel Sarinnen will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Sarinnen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Sarinnen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Sarinnen is working away from the top position though. McCurtney felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Sarinnen is working for a submission of some sort.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McCurtney tries to roll over but Sarinnen keeps him under control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Samuel Sarinnen will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round! McCurtney buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
