PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miksa Magyar (ranked 972 p4p, 2489 weight class) and Eli Beehi (ranked 36 p4p, 90 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Eli Beehi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miksa Magyar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eli Beehi!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magyar closes this distance looking for a takedown but Beehi circles away.
Beehi throws a nice looking combination but Magyar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Magyar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Beehi was covering up waiting for the punch and Magyar finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Beehi is wriggling around but Magyar manages to pass to half guard.

Beehi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Magyar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Magyar seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Beehi is trying to stand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Magyar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Magyar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Beehi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Beehi can do anything to dispel that myth.
