The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van De Leide misses with a straight right.
Van De Leide throws out a loose jab but Spencer uses good head movement to avoid it.
Silvio Van De Leide seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Van De Leide throws a hook but Spencer avoids it easily.
Spencer feinted with a counter takedown.
Van De Leide keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Van De Leide scores with a jab. Spencer acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Spencer drops his hands momentarily and Van De Leide takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Van De Leide lands a left and a right that send Spencer crashing to the mat, dazed. Van De Leide thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Spencer is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Spencer scores with a hook to the body. Van De Leide takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Oh Spencer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Van De Leide has cracked Spencer with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Van De Leide lands another huge swinging hook and Spencer tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Spencer, before Van De Leide can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Silvio Van De Leide!
