The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thurgood has his takedown stuffed
and Slaissi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Slaissi throws a jab but it's blocked by Thurgood.
Thurgood shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Slaissi to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Erik Thurgood has been cut.
Erik Thurgood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slaissi lands a body shot.
Slaissi lands with a right hand.
Thurgood wants to clinch but Slaissi slips to the side
and Slaissi counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Thurgood falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
