Sanders is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Le Freak- CHIC. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yergin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Sanders really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yergin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sanders can do anything to dispel that myth.
Yergin is looking to work some ground and pound but Sanders has wrist control.

Yergin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sanders stacks Yergin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sanders!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Yergin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sanders wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Sanders wants to get back to his feet but Yergin is holding on tight.
Yergin is desperately trying to improve his position but Sanders has a good base and remains in mount.
Yergin tries to lock up and control but Sanders gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Yergin keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Yergin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Sanders gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Charles Sanders has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Yergin jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
A big left from Yergin misses.
Nice takedown defense from Sanders. No joy for Yergin on that attempt.

Oooooh!!! Sanders has knocked Yergin down with a huge combo! Sanders steps away and waves a wobbly Yergin back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Yergin is rocked!

It looks like Daniel Yergin has been cut.
Sanders lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Yergin - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Sanders!
