Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Green (ranked 2339 p4p, 3111 weight class) and Bryan Bartlett (ranked 157 p4p, 206 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bryan Bartlett was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Calvin Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bryan Bartlett!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurstr�m and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bartlett dives in and grabs Green's left leg, looking for a takedown. Green pushes down on Bartlett's head and hops out.
Bartlett uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Green.
Green slaps away a takedown attempt from Bartlett, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bartlett lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Green has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Green and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Green thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bartlett drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Green defends it well.
Bartlett has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bartlett is looking to clinch.
Bartlett lands a lovely overhand right.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bartlett slips under a jab from Green.
Bartlett throws a leg kick
and Green counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Bryan Bartlett has been cut.
A shot to the body from Bartlett misses
letting Green counter with a right hand.
Bartlett doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Green counters with a crisp right that sends Bartlett to the canvas! Green follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Calvin Green!
