Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ed Kemper (ranked 2762 p4p, 25154 weight class) and Derick Brandt (ranked 316 p4p, 558 weight class). Brandt comes into a darkened arena with his song building. New Authentic - Time kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ed Kemper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Derick Brandt!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandt misses with a left hand
enabling Kemper to counter with a crisp jab.
Derick Brandt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brandt throws a looping overhand right but Kemper ducks down to avoid it.
Brandt throws a series of punches but Kemper avoids them all with ease.
Brandt smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Brandt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kemper moves away.
Brandt misses with a right hand
and Kemper counters with a thumping low kick.
Kemper defending well as Brandt loads up on a big left hand.
Kemper appears to be looking for a big counter.
Brandt looks to throw the jab but Kemper is out of range.
Kemper was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Brandt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kemper jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Kemper walks into a straight right hand from Brandt.
Brandt throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kemper counters with a stiff right hand.
Brandt looks to clinch
and Kemper counters with a crisp right hand that drops Brandt! Kemper lets Brandt back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brandt swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kemper finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Brandt has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Brandt looks winded!
Kemper misses with a head kick.
Brandt wants to clinch but Kemper slips to the side
and Kemper counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
