Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Takashi Asai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Temu McGregor!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor scores with a punch to the head.
Asai misses with a looping right.
Asai looks to throw the jab but McGregor is out of range.
McGregor misses with a low kick.
Asai lands a slapping body shot.
Asai feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends McGregor sprawling to the canvas! McGregor rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Asai finish him?!
It looks like Temu McGregor has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McGregor throws a front kick aimed at Asai's knee but Asai avoids it well.

McGregor is looking to control Asai's arms but Asai gets an underhook and turns him. Now McGregor has his back to the ropes.
