The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Kemper counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Bo McGuire has been cut.
McGuire misses with an uppercut.
Kemper takes a shot to the body in his stride.
McGuire misses with a lunging right hand
and Kemper counters with a straight right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGuire throws a jab when Kemper was well out of range.
Kemper is trying to counter with his kicks.
McGuire tries to clinch but Kemper moves away
and Kemper counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McGuire swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kemper cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Kemper avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McGuire misses with an uppercut
and Kemper counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
McGuire tries to clinch there but Kemper circles away.
Kemper unleashes a big counter combination but McGuire bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
McGuire misses with a lunging right hand
and Kemper connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
McGuire throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kemper counters with a straight right hand.
Bo McGuire's cut is getting worse.
McGuire scores with a jab to the body.
McGuire misses with a jab, cross combination.
McGuire misses with a body shot
and Kemper counters with a stiff right hand.
Kemper looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McGuire scores with a sloppy right hand. Kemper should have avoided that one.
It looks like Ed Kemper has been cut.
McGuire wants to clinch but Kemper slips to the side
and Kemper counters with a stiff right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kemper steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McGuire.
Kemper's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McGuire connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kemper scrambles back to his feet.
Kemper slips under a jab.
McGuire throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kemper counters with a crisp right hand that drops McGuire! Kemper lets McGuire back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
McGuire is rocked!
Bo McGuire's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Kemper circles away from the clinch attempt
and Kemper makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Oh McGuire is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McGuire throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kemper counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps McGuire thinking.
McGuire seems to have got his legs back now.
McGuire is breathing heavily.
McGuire misses with a hook to the body
and Kemper counters with a huge left! McGuire is in big trouble! He's backing up but Kemper isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save McGuire from any more damage. A dominating finish by Kemper!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ed Kemper!
