Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shilin Li (ranked 1310 p4p, 1390 weight class) and Jamison Hardin (ranked 163 p4p, 170 weight class). Hardin has chosen Memories (feat. Kid Cudi) as his entrance music. Jamison Hardin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shilin Li!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jamison Hardin!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurstr�m, Anni Minnem�ki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardin scores with a crisp jab that stopped Li in his tracks.
Hardin misses with a double jab.
Hardin looks to land a combination but Li avoids it well.
Li closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hardin did well to prevent Li getting side control.
Hardin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Li. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Li prevents Hardin from standing back up.
Li is nestled in close to Hardin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Hardin is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Li scores with a couple of nice shots.

Li working over Hardin with some ground and pound. Hardin looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Li frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The referee warns Hardin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Li lands a big shot there that rocks Hardin but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hardin is rocked!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Hardin is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Li cracks Hardin with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

A very excited looking Shilin Li made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
