Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Amber Jack (ranked 1219 p4p, 1256 weight class) and Soo Young Yoo (ranked 99 p4p, 100 weight class). Jack comes to the cage accompanied by DDA - Pusha T. Soo Young Yoo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Amber Jack!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Soo Young Yoo!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Jack loads up on a big right hand but Yoo slips the punch.
Yoo moves out of range of the strikes.
Yoo drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Jack defends it well.
Yoo throws a head kick that misses
and Jack counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Yoo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Yoo throws a body punch but Jack moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jack walks into a straight right hand from Yoo.

Yoo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jack tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Yoo is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jack can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Jack takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Jack tries to lock up and control but Yoo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Jack is desperately trying to improve his position but Yoo has a good base and remains in mount.

Yoo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Jack has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Yoo working for a guillotine from mount but Jack is in no mood to give up.

Jack prevents any damage by holding on tight.
Jack wants to control but Yoo is having none of it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yoo controlling the pace for now.
Jack is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yoo looking to control and managing it successfully.
Yoo lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Yoo with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Jack is squirming around, avoiding Yoo's attempts to control the action.

Yoo is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jack to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jack shrugs it off.

Yoo looking to secure an arm triangle but Jack defends it well.
Yoo trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Jack sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Yoo trying to control the pace.
Jack tries to get to full guard but Yoo has control of the leg.
Jack on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jack tries to get out of the position.
Jack trying to hold on to Yoo's head to control him but Yoo postures up.
Yoo content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Soo Young Yoo dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Yoo misses with a series of wild punches.
A swing and a miss from Yoo.
It looked like Jack wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Yoo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Yoo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Yoo with the counter takedown but Jack avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jack throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Yoo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
A big left from Jack misses.
Yoo feints the counter takedown.

Jack drops Yoo with a beautiful combination! Yoo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jack is looking for the KO!
Jack stuns Yoo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jack tries to move into range but Yoo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jack lands a jab to the nose.

Yoo is rocked!
Yoo fails with a takedown attempt.

Yoo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Yoo shoots in for a takedown but Jack shows good takedown defense.

Yoo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Yoo is working for a kimura but Jack is defending it quite comfortably.
Yoo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Jack is trying to get back to full guard.
Jack wants to control but Yoo is keeping busy.
Soo Young Yoo has got the better of the ground game so far.
Jack keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Jack knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yoo on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jack tries to roll over but Yoo keeps him under control.
Jack wants to control but Yoo is keeping busy.
Jack wants to improve his position but Yoo is controlling well.
Yoo wants to pass to mount but Jack is defending the position.
Yoo passes to full mount!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Yoo working for a submission but Jack is keeping him at bay.
Yoo in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Amber Jack will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

A left lands for Jack.
Jack connects with a good right hand that stumbles Yoo. Yoo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Yoo misses with a hook.

Jack throws a jab when Yoo was well out of range.
Jack misses with the combination.

Jack throws a shot from downtown. Yoo moves away and avoids it.
Amber Jack is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Yoo blocks a jab.
Yoo cracks a nice hook into Jack's ribs.
Jack takes a swing at Yoo's ribcage but misses.
Jack fails to land with a series of punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jack scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Yoo sizes up Jack with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Jack is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Yoo misses with a looping right.
Yoo misses with an uppercut

and Jack counters with a crisp right hand that drops Yoo! Jack lets Yoo back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Yoo is still on wobbly legs! Can Jack finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Yoo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jack counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Amber Jack!

A very excited looking Amber Jack made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
