Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve McNightNight (ranked 24400 p4p, 2093 weight class) and Danielos Tiger (ranked 504 p4p, 237 weight class). Steve McNightNight has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steve McNightNight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 20 - 0, fighting out of London, Danielos Tiger! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Tiger looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Tiger takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Tiger shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Tiger wants to clinch up but McNightNight keeps it at a distance. Tiger throws a leg kick and McNightNight decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tiger's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McNightNight working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Tiger tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tiger pulls McNightNight in close to prevent any damage. McNightNight stopping the sweep attempt from Tiger. McNightNight controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McNightNight stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tiger swivels though and keeps the full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tiger is on top in guard.

Tiger stays in close to McNightNight's body and controls the position. Tiger keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of McNightNight's head. Tiger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McNightNight swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tiger told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. McNightNight looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tiger is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McNightNight is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tiger is aware though and is defending well. McNightNight is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Tiger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McNightNight swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tiger slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. McNightNight manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tiger manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. McNightNight throwing strikes but missing. McNightNight trying to control the position from guard on top but Tiger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tiger working a defensive guard here.
McNightNight definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Tiger throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. McNightNight wants to stand but Tiger has a closed guard, so he can't escape. McNightNight working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Tiger keeping moving, preventing McNightNight from controlling successfully.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. McNightNight fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Tiger is out of range. Tiger gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and McNightNight counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. McNightNight fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tiger shoots for a double leg takedown but McNightNight sprawls well. He's pushed Tiger's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Steve McNightNight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danielos Tiger. Tiger wants to clinch up but McNightNight keeps it at a distance. No joy there for Tiger, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tiger looks winded! Tiger has his takedown stuffed and McNightNight counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tiger is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but McNightNight is keeping busy. McNightNight breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Steve McNightNight dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Tiger has a takedown stuffed. Tiger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McNightNight's waist but McNightNight gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tiger off to one side. Tiger keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. McNightNight looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tiger is looking for the big counter here. Tiger drives through and clinches with McNightNight against the cage.
McNightNight is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tiger can do to turn this around? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McNightNight pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tiger fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve McNightNight. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tiger closes the distance and clinches. McNightNight lands a knee to the head.
McNightNight throws a punch but it's blocked by Tiger. Tiger's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. McNightNight fails with the takedown and Tiger counters with a right hand to the body. Tiger stuffs the takedown. McNightNight shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tiger as he avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tiger moves into range and clinches up with McNightNight. A bit of stalling here from McNightNight.

Tiger is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. McNightNight isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Tiger stacks McNightNight on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Tiger! McNightNight is not content to let Tiger control the position. McNightNight struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tiger decides to stand up, so the ref orders McNightNight to his feet. McNightNight shoots in and bounces Tiger off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Tiger pushes McNightNight off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. McNightNight gets a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tiger is looking to break free of the clinch but McNightNight has double underhooks. McNightNight goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tiger prevents it.
Tiger has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics McNightNight uses from the top position. Danielos Tiger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Tiger clinches up against the cage. Tiger jumps guard but McNightNight stands there with Tiger around his waist. Tiger gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

He's got hold of a leg but Tiger swivels and escapes. Steve McNightNight is winning the standup battle so far. McNightNight blocks a head kick by Tiger.
McNightNight throws a counter high kick but Tiger was just alert enough to avoid it. Tiger tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. McNightNight manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. McNightNight closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tiger circles away. Nice sprawl there from McNightNight as Tiger shoots in. McNightNight feinted with a counter takedown. McNightNight shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tiger as he jumps to the side.

McNightNight clinches up with Tiger and pushes him back against the cage. Tiger wants to take the fight to the mat but McNightNight manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. McNightNight drags the fight down to the ground.
McNightNight looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Tiger has picked McNightNight up and slammed him! McNightNight can't keep hold of the triangle and Tiger manages to pass to side control! McNightNight tries to buck Tiger off but Tiger is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tiger is working McNightNight over with some ground and pound from side control. Tiger moves into full mount! McNightNight swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Tiger pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. McNightNight tries to get back to half guard but can't. Tiger scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Tiger lands a couple of good shots and McNightNight has given up his back, trying to escape the position! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McNightNight is really stuck here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tiger is not going to allow McNightNight to sit and survive in this position. I really don't envy McNightNight right now.
And that's the end of the fight! Danielos Tiger comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Tiger has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
