Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Butch Frewin (ranked 2092 p4p, 2255 weight class) and Jah Kid (ranked 88 p4p, 92 weight class). Frewin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Billy the Squid's Water Pistol by The Neptunas. Kid has chosen Walk - Pantera as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Butch Frewin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jah Kid!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frewin tries to clinch but Kid moves away
letting Kid counter with a right hand.
Frewin paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Frewin catches Kid with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kid takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Frewin slips a straight right by Kid.
Frewin scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Frewin misses with a lunging right hand
and Kid counters with a takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kid is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Frewin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Frewin prevents Kid from moving into mount.

Frewin is trying to get back to his feet.
Frewin is letting Kid control him for a moment.

Kid wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Frewin, who protects the arm well.
Frewin trying to remain calm as Kid controls from the top position.
Kid tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Frewin tries to escape but Kid is in control.
Kid is working to tighten his grip on Frewin's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Frewin has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kid is really squeezing tight and eventually Frewin passes out! Kid breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Jah Kid!
After winning the bout, Jah Kid thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
