Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Handler (ranked 498 p4p, 624 weight class) and Gunt Jernit (ranked 50 p4p, 63 weight class). Handler comes to the cage accompanied by KEEPINITBEEFY. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jacob Handler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gunt Jernit!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jernit avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jernit appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Handler looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Handler slips a straight right by Jernit.
Handler takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Handler throws a right hand that misses
and Jernit makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jernit with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Handler to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Gunt Jernit has been cut.
Jernit scores with a hook to the body. Handler takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Handler dives in for a single leg takedown but Jernit sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Handler has a couple of punches blocked by Jernit.
Handler swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Jernit tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Handler's elbow.
Handler blocks an uppercut.
Handler misses with an elbow strike.
A hook to the body from Jernit.
Jernit scores with a nice hook to the head.
Jernit works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Handler has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Jernit wants to pass the guard but Handler is keeping the position.

Jernit looking to sit in guard and control but Handler gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jernit is desperately trying to improve his position but Handler has a good base and remains in mount.
Handler tries to control but Jernit wriggling away.
BOOM! Handler connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jernit really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Handler breaks from Jernit's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Handler trying to control but he's not successful this time.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Handler cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Jernit is rocked!
That has opened up Gunt Jernit's cut even more.
Jernit is squirming around, avoiding Handler's attempts to control the action.
Jernit is still in real trouble! Can Handler finish him?
Jernit tries to hold on but Handler postures up.
Handler looking to control but Jernit is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Jernit tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jernit seems to have recovered his senses.
Handler lands a big elbow - Jernit is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Jernit is forced to tap out!
