Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Slade Sutton (ranked 2676 p4p, 3771 weight class) and Will Break (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Slade Sutton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Will Break! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Break takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Sutton scores with a head kick. Break tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Will Break has been cut. Sutton scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Break tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sutton swats him away and circles back towards the center. Slade Sutton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sutton plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Break is rocked! Sutton with a body punch. A glancing blow. Break is still on wobbly legs! Can Sutton finish him? Good shot there by Sutton. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Break throws a body shot but no joy. Break avoids the head kick by Sutton.
Break swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Break seems to have recovered his senses. No luck for Break with that takedown attempt. Sutton fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Break gets caught napping as Sutton dives in and scores a takedown. Break manages to retain guard. Sutton sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sutton stops Break from standing up. Sutton scoring with some ground and pound. Sutton is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Break trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Sutton engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Break blocks a head kick by Sutton.
Break shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sutton but Sutton pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sutton keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sutton swats away the attempt to clinch by Break. Break shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sutton as he jumps to the side. Slade Sutton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Will Break. Break takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Break misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sutton blocks the body kick.
It looked like Sutton was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Left hook, right uppercut from Sutton. Sutton misses with a jab, cross combination.
Break takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Break throws a series of punches but Sutton moves out of range. Nice cross by Sutton. Break misses with a takedown attempt and Sutton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Break shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sutton defends it nicely. Sutton lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Break moves into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sutton tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Break wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Sutton is looking for a takedown. Sutton is trying to push Break away but Break has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Sutton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sutton pushes Break away with a front kick. Sutton throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Break darts in trying to clinch letting Sutton counter with a right hand. Break fails in his attempt to clinch. Sutton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sutton fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Break. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Slade Sutton dominated that round. The cut man is working on Will Break's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Break looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Break doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Break tries to close the distance and clinch but Sutton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sutton slaps away a takedown attempt from Break, before circling back to the center of the mat. It looked like Sutton wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Slade Sutton is winning the standup battle so far. Sutton scores with a leg kick.

Sutton closes the distance and pushes Break back into the cage. Sutton has Break pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sutton pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Break tumbling to the mat - Sutton dives into Break's guard. Break working a defensive guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Break is on top in guard.
Sutton avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Break wants to pass the guard but Sutton is keeping the position. Sutton is pulling down on Break's head. It's preventing any offense from Break, at least for the moment. Break lands a couple of elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sutton seems keen to control Break's posture. Break wants to get up but he can't break Sutton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Sutton trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Break passes Sutton's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Break wants to control but Sutton is keeping him busy. Break missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Sutton on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Sutton is staying active underneath Break, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Break wants to stand up but Sutton is controlling the position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sutton is not content to let Break control the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Sutton scores with a head kick. Break tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Sutton throws a wild body kick that Break sees coming a mile off. As Sutton backs off Break throws a huge counter combo but Sutton manages to avoid it all. Break shoots in and drives through. Sutton sprawls well. Sutton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sutton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sutton stuffs the takedown. Slade Sutton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Will Break. Break wants to clinch up but Sutton keeps it at a distance. Sutton appears to be looking for a big counter. Sutton moves out of range of the body kick. Sutton throws a good cross that connects.
Sutton scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Break is looking to clinch but Sutton is avoiding it.
Sutton tries to clinch but Break is having none of it. Break moves to clinch but Sutton breaks away enabling Sutton to counter with a crisp jab. Sutton moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. This has been an exciting period of action! Sutton throws a lazy head kick and Break counters by clinching up. Break jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sutton walks away with a smile on his face. Break gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Break fails with the takedown. Break shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sutton counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Break thinking. Sutton is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Sutton lands a high kick!
Sutton digs a good body shot into Break's ribs. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Slade Sutton dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Will Break's cut. That's time! Sutton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round! Break darts in looking for a takedown but Sutton gets double underhooks and turns Break into the cage. Sutton is looking for a counter combo. Sutton moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Break tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Sutton swats away the attempt to clinch by Break. Break is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sutton sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sutton connects with a good right hand that stumbles Break. Break circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Sutton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Break was covering up waiting for the punch and Sutton finishes the takedown easily into guard. Sutton seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Break trying to control the position.

Sutton has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Break is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sutton is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Break looking to control.
Sutton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Break on the ground.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Slade Sutton overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Break wants to stand and escape but Sutton is having none of it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Break stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sutton. Break misses with a double jab.

A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Danga de danga de dang - Sutton scores with a four punch combination! Slade Sutton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Break shoots in for a takedown but Sutton shows good takedown defense. Break tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sutton manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sutton appears to be looking for a big counter. Break is trying desperately to land a takedown but Sutton is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Break. Break tries to clinch but Sutton moves out of range. Sutton lands with an uppercut that bounces Break off the cage and back into range. Break takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Sutton defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Break. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Sutton!

And that's the end of the fight! Slade Sutton showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sutton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
