Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Lassiter (ranked 3432 p4p, 2446 weight class) and Jun Jun Li (ranked 380 p4p, 282 weight class). The key to victory for Chuck Lassiter has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Lassiter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jun Jun Li!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lassiter paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lassiter shoots in looking for a takedown. Li tries to sprawl out of it but Lassiter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Li manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Li tries to counter by closing the distance.
Lassiter tries to keep at a distance but Li has taken the fight into the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Li - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Li gets control of Lassiter's arms and successfully pulls guard. Li will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lassiter won't allow Li to sweep him here.
Li is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Li takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Lassiter is not content to let Li control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lassiter gets full guard.
Lassiter working a defensive guard but Li manages to pass into side control anyway.
Li tries to score with some ground and pound. Lassiter controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Lassiter struggling a bit here.
Li in side control, throwing shots but Lassiter defends.
Li in side control lands a decent elbow.
It looks like Chuck Lassiter has been cut.
Li trying to control the action but Lassiter is working from the bottom.
Li in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Li scores with a couple of short elbows.
Chuck Lassiter's cut is getting worse.
Li fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Lassiter on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lassiter tries to get out of the position.
Li in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Lassiter takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Chuck Lassiter's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Li throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Li has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Lassiter!
Li trying to control but Lassiter is having none of it.
Lassiter is trying desperately to improve position.
Li landing strikes, looking to finish!
Jeez, Chuck Lassiter's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chuck Lassiter's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jun Jun Li!
Jun Jun Li decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
