Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ming Li (ranked 4736 p4p, 3027 weight class) and Nickolas Holt (ranked 445 p4p, 330 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ming Li!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Nickolas Holt!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Li or perhaps it was just good defense by Holt, which made it look bad.
It seemed like Holt was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Li has his takedown stuffed
and Holt counters with a nice uppercut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Li is defended easily by Holt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ming Li. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Li feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Holt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Li. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
