Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Hong (ranked 24990 p4p, 2544 weight class) and Daniel Tung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonathan Hong looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonathan Hong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Tung! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tung looks to land a left hand but Hong moved out of range nicely. Hong seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Hong looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Tung throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hong. Tung waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hong. Tung fails with the takedown and Hong counters with a straight right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tung throws a combination that misses and Hong counters with a stiff right hand. Tung falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Hong to counter with a crisp jab.

and Tung takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Tung throws a nice looking combination but Hong bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jonathan Hong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tung throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hong. As Tung looks to move away, Hong throws a big counter combo but Tung just gets out of the way. Tung throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tung takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Hong is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hong takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Tung lands with a nice body punch. Hong is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Tung shoots and misses and Hong counters with a series of strikes. Tung will be more careful next time no doubt. Tung misses with a jab to the body
letting Hong counter with a right hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tung throws a big shot that misses. Hong went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Tung jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hong appears to be looking for a big counter. Hong avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice shot by Tung. Tung shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hong eats them both and turns towards Tung to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Tung throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tung throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hong counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Tung swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hong counters with a one-two to the body. Tung scores with a three punch combo!
Hong is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tung misses with a series of wild punches.
Hong uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tung. Hong throwing a counter right hand but Tung manages to avoid it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Daniel Tung will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Tung looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hong ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hong went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Hong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hong dodges the punch combination from Tung.
Tung throws a right and a left that Hong avoids nicely. Hong is looking to counter punch. Jonathan Hong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tung tries to bum rush Hong with a series of wild strikes but Hong uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hong is looking to counter punch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tung scores with a jab to the head.

and Hong counters with a huge left! Tung is in big trouble! He's backing up but Hong isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Tung from any more damage. A dominating finish by Hong!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jonathan Hong! After winning the bout, Jonathan Hong thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
