And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roman Shopulov!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D Krusai connects with a leg kick.
D Krusai scores with a nice body kick.
Shopulov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
D Krusai lands a front kick.
D Krusai looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
D Krusai is looking to slow Shopulov down with leg kicks.
Shopulov throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and D Krusai counters with a head kick. That will keep Shopulov thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

A decent looking body kick lands there for D Krusai.
Shopulov swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and D Krusai counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Shopulov swings for the body but D Krusai moves out of range.
D Krusai throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
D Krusai has taken the fight to the clinch.
D Krusai lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Roman Shopulov has been cut.

D Krusai makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Shopulov can't break the clinch.
D Krusai breaks from the clinch.
