Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Isiah Monroe (ranked 2216 p4p, 2345 weight class) and Tre Davis (ranked 267 p4p, 283 weight class). Tre Davis will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Isiah Monroe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tre Davis!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Monroe is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Davis is defending well.
Monroe lands a hook to the side of the head.
Davis is pressed up against the cage. Monroe has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Davis down to the mat. Davis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Davis moves in looking to clinch but Monroe pushes him off.
Monroe was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Monroe closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Davis to the mat! Davis manages to get full guard.
Davis is trying to control the position but Monroe postures up.

Monroe keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Davis's head.

Monroe is standing up over Davis. Davis looks to escape but Monroe dives into side control.

Davis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Monroe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Davis pushes Monroe away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Monroe gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Monroe wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Davis, who protects the arm well.
Davis seems to have recovered his senses.
Monroe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Davis is pushing Monroe's head away, looking to escape. Monroe manages to hold on to the position though.

Monroe creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Monroe in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Davis looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Monroe turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
