Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nikolas Conner (ranked 2878 p4p, 5020 weight class) and Baron Welch (ranked 239 p4p, 339 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Welch's choice of entrance music: Red Light. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nikolas Conner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Baron Welch!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Welch blocks a leg kick.
Welch tries to clinch up.
Welch shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Conner pinned against the cage. Conner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Conner wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Welch scores with a takedown into Conner's guard.
Welch lands a couple of digs.
Welch in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Welch working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Conner's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Welch postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Welch controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Conner has hold of Welch's hands but Welch slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Welch seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Welch winds up and cracks Conner with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
