Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Randell Robertson (ranked 3541 p4p, 25281 weight class) and Kelvin Armstrong (ranked 320 p4p, 446 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Randell Robertson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kelvin Armstrong!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong shoots in looking for a takedown but Robertson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Armstrong's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Armstrong has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Armstrong fails to land the takedown.

Robertson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Armstrong, pushing him back against the cage.
Armstrong is trying to pull guard but Robertson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Randell Robertson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kelvin Armstrong.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Armstrong tries to pull guard but Robertson forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Robertson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Robertson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Robertson decides to return to a standing position.
Armstrong shoots for a double leg takedown but Robertson sprawls well. He's pushed Armstrong's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Armstrong takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Armstrong looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Robertson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
