Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Walker (ranked 25379 p4p, 3759 weight class) and Joshua Jericho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wayne Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joshua Jericho!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker circles away from the clinch attempt.
Walker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jericho swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jericho swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Walker fails with the takedown.
Jericho displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Walker.
Walker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jericho counters with a single leg into guard. Walker didn't expect that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wayne Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jericho is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Jericho is pressing down on Walker's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Walker won't allow Jericho to sweep him here.
Walker throws an elbow that misses. Jericho uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Walker's guard. Nice move by Jericho!

Jericho keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Walker's head.
Walker wants to stand and escape but Jericho is having none of it.
Jericho lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Jericho content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jericho is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Jericho is working Walker over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Jericho connects with a couple of short punches.
Walker is rocked!
Jericho loads up on a big left hand. Walker felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Jericho looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Walker can't hide his disappointment, as Jericho celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joshua Jericho!
