And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Garry Hobbs!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Everett scores with a one two! Hobbs had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Everett lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Hobbs is looking to break free of the clinch but Everett has double underhooks.

Hobbs breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hobbs missing with a left hand there. Everett was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Everett lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hobbs backwards.

and Hobbs counters with a straight right hand.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Everett, as that shot connected.
Hobbs throws a right hand that Everett ducks under and follows up with a left that Everett also avoids with ease.

Everett tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hobbs swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Everett is trying to maintain a safe position but Hobbs gets an underhook and turns Everett into the ropes.
Still in the clinch, Everett scores with a nice short uppercut.
Everett keeps control of Hobbs as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Hobbs wants to break free but Everett has control.

Hobbs's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hobbs moves forwards but Everett connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Everett cracks a nice hook into Hobbs's ribs.

Everett lands with a good body shot.

Jake Everett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Everett connects with a body shot that sends Hobbs's belly button to the back.

Everett wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Everett paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hobbs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Everett moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Everett is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Hobbs avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Everett digs a good hook to Hobbs's body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Good exchange - Everett coming out on top.
Everett scores with a jab. Hobbs acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Everett thuds a left hand into Hobbs's body.

Everett lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hobbs at a distance.
Everett works Hobbs's body with a nice hook.
Hobbs drops his hands momentarily and Everett takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Everett cracks Hobbs with a right hand to the side of the head.
Everett staggers Hobbs with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Hobbs looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! No! He's back down again! 9...10 - he's can't beat the count and Everett is victorious!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jake Everett!
