Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Junior Malis (ranked 3828 p4p, 24628 weight class) and Asher Ax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Asher Ax told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Junior Malis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Asher Ax!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ax tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Malis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ax quickly recovers to half guard.
Ax trying to hold on to Malis's head to control him but Malis postures up.
Malis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ax on the ground.
Malis stalling.
Malis sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ax defending well though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ax regains full guard. Nicely done.

Malis looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Ax is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Malis rolls with it to try and escape but Ax cranks on the arm and Malis is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

In his post fight interview, Asher Ax started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
