Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Phoenix Waters (ranked 25459 p4p, 3743 weight class) and Baki Hanma (ranked 342 p4p, 291 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Phoenix Waters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Baki Hanma!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanma changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Waters tries to avoid it but Hanma manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Waters to the ground. Waters escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hanma shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Waters sprawls well. Waters wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hanma gets slowly back to his feet.
Hanma displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Waters.
Nice takedown defense from Hanma. No joy for Waters on that attempt.

Hanma is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Waters's half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hanma frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Hanma tries to control but Waters wriggling away.
The referee warns Waters that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Waters wants to control but Hanma is having none of it.

Waters seems to have got his legs back now.
Hanma scoring with strikes but Waters is staying in there.
A big strike lands for Hanma! That's really hurt Waters and he's turned his back - Hanma keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Hanma jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
