Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Franco Ferrell (ranked 2581 p4p, 3203 weight class) and Albert Einstein (ranked 238 p4p, 287 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Franco Ferrell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Albert Einstein! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Einstein does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. As Einstein looks to move away, Ferrell throws a big counter combo but Einstein just gets out of the way. Einstein misses with an attempted mid kick.
A clash of legs there as Ferrell blocks the low kick. Einstein tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ferrell went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Ferrell blocks the body kick.
As Einstein tries to get set, Ferrell tries to push him back and clinch up but Einstein manages to avoid the attempt. Einstein throws a jab but it's blocked by Ferrell. Ferrell was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Ferrell avoids the head kick by Einstein.
Ferrell is looking for a counter combo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Einstein misses with a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Einstein lands with a kick to the temple. Ferrell shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Einstein fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ferrell has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Einstein tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Ferrell counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Ferrell drops back looking for a leg! Einstein is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Einstein manages to kick Ferrell off! Ferrell jumps back into Einstein's guard. Ferrell drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Einstein manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ferrell has Einstein in his guard.
Ferrell working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Einstein doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Einstein manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ferrell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Einstein slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Einstein postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ferrell working for a triangle but Einstein defends it easily.

Einstein trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Einstein really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ferrell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ferrell is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Einstein defends well. Einstein must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Einstein is stalling in the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ferrell is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Einstein clinches up with Ferrell and pushes him back against the cage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Einstein gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ferrell.

Albert Einstein dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ferrell takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Ferrell is working for takedown but Einstein is calmly controlling the position for now. Einstein using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ferrell has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Ferrell is trying to trip Einstein. He has hold of a leg but Einstein is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ferrell persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Ferrell with a flurry of punches that miss. Ferrell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ferrell is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Einstein is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Einstein has escaped and now he's on top!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ferrell has a closed guard, preventing Einstein from standing up. Einstein has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Einstein stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ferrell swivels though and keeps the full guard. Einstein wants to stand but Ferrell is controlling his posture from full guard. Einstein trying to control the position from guard on top but Ferrell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ferrell looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Einstein controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Einstein looking to sit in guard and control but Ferrell gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Ferrell prevents Einstein from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Einstein with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Einstein throws a push kick but Ferrell slaps the foot to one side. It looked like Ferrell was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. A head kick by Einstein misses and Ferrell counters with a big head kick but Einstein shrugs it off. Einstein looks for the body kick but Ferrell saw that one coming. Einstein throws a body kick that misses. Einstein throws a low kick, looking for Ferrell's leg but Ferrell calmly moves out of range. Albert Einstein seems to be getting the better of the standup. Einstein throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Einstein shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Albert Einstein is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Einstein delivers a nice body kick. Einstein tried to score with a low kick but Ferrell checks it. Ferrell throws a big counter combination but Einstein scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Einstein throws a body punch but Ferrell moves out of range. And that's the end of the fight! Albert Einstein comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Einstein winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
