Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Colby Canvana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 22 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sigandi Legend Jr!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canvana shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Canvana showed some decent athleticism there.
Still in half guard, Canvana seems content to control.
Canvana trying to control the action but Legend Jr is working from the bottom.
Canvana tries to stand and escape but Legend Jr is controlling the position.
Legend Jr is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Canvana pulls his head out easily.
Legend Jr is trying to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Legend Jr wants to control but Canvana passes into side.
Canvana working away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Canvana grinds an elbow into Legend Jr's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Canvana tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Legend Jr takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
You can see the frustration on Legend Jr's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Canvana wants to stand but Legend Jr is controlling his arm.
Canvana trying to control the action but Legend Jr is working from the bottom.
Canvana has hold of Legend Jr's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Legend Jr seems comfortable defending it but Canvana has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Legend Jr is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Legend Jr is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Canvana couldn't care less - he's delighted!
