The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Abdul Karim closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. You can see the frustration on LS's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. A lull in the action here. LS sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Abdul Karim has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Abdul Karim has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of LS's body.
