The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Hunter looking to score a takedown here. Trismegistus is defending well but Hunter drives through and ends up in Trismegistus's guard. Trismegistus looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hunter is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunter slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Trismegistus slows the pace down in half guard. Trismegistus is stalling here. Hunter is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Trismegistus seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Hunter has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. That is not cool. Trismegistus is looking to reverse the position. Hunter is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

And that's the end of the fight! Hunter wins on points by 15 to 5. A very excited looking Saul Hunter made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. |
