Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Thompson (ranked 1520 p4p, 3429 weight class) and Chozen Gracie (ranked 183 p4p, 367 weight class). Thompson comes to the cage accompanied by Redneck Summer - Ben Hudson. Chozen Gracie acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie thows a left - swing and a miss!
Gracie takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Thompson throws a series of punches but Gracie avoids them all with ease.
Thompson misses with a straight right.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gracie has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
The fighters circling - Gracie throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
