This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 30 wins and 37 losses; Dragon Li Chai! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 18 wins and 11 losses; Woodie Maykit! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Excellent takedown into side control there by Maykit. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Chai (0) vs (4) Maykit Maykit staying calm. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chai is looking to regain half guard here but Maykit keeps moving and retains side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maykit is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Chai will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chai holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Maykit looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

That is not cool. Let's hope that Maykit has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
