Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Aydin Parks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Axel Phelps!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phelps changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Phelps thuds a left hand into Parks's body.
Phelps gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Parks to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Parks missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Parks throwing strikes but missing.
Parks definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Parks distracts Phelps with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Parks is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Phelps is trying to control the position but Parks postures up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Parks accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Phelps really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Parks. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Parks arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Phelps's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Aydin Parks!
