Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derrick Rojas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Burns looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A nice leg kick from Rojas, right into the meat of the thigh.
Rojas takes one to the side of the head.
Burns scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Rojas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Burns moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rojas throws a jab but it's blocked by Burns.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rojas with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Burns to score with a decent uppercut.

Rojas looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Burns's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rojas connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Burns scrambles back to his feet.

As Rojas backs off Burns throws a huge counter combo but Rojas manages to avoid it all.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Burns takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Rojas might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

A little jabbing left from Burns on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Burns avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Burns cracks Rojas with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Burns immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Rojas is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Burns!
