The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zapata wants to clinch up but Dirkinshan keeps it at a distance.

Dirkinshan moves into range and clinches up with Zapata.
Dirkinshan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Zapata's efforts to push away.
Dirkinshan lands a right hand that snaps the head of Zapata backwards.
Zapata jumps guard but Dirkinshan turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Dirkinshan lands a damaging elbow.
Dirkinshan with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Dirkinshan lands a right hand.
Dirkinshan lands an elbow inside.

Zapata's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Zapata tries to keep at a distance but Dirkinshan has taken the fight into the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dirkinshan lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Dirkinshan creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Zapata's defenses.

Dirkinshan connects with a nasty looking knee right to Zapata's face.
Zapata has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dirkinshan after a bit of a struggle.

Zapata is trying to break the clinch but Dirkinshan has him pressed against the cage.
Zapata looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
