Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Olson (ranked 3575 p4p, 3478 weight class) and John Keith Rockefeller (ranked 394 p4p, 390 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jay Olson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Keith Rockefeller! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rockefeller scores with a nice head shot. Rockefeller misses with an uppercut
and Olson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Rockefeller throws a hook but Olson avoids it easily. Rockefeller looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Rockefeller connects with a single shot there. Rockefeller throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Olson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A big left from Rockefeller misses. Olson is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Rockefeller bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Olson's head. Olson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Olson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rockefeller throws out the jab. Olson throwing a counter right hand but Rockefeller manages to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rockefeller waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Olson. Olson appears to be looking for a big counter. Rockefeller scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Rockefeller looks to land a left hand but Olson moved out of range nicely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rockefeller throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Olson counters with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Olson defending well as Rockefeller loads up on a big left hand. It looked like Olson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Olson moves away from the strike by Rockefeller. Rockefeller scores with a jab to the body. Olson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Rockefeller rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Olson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. John Keith Rockefeller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A looping hook to the body misses from Rockefeller. Olson does a little dance to reset his feet. Rockefeller throws an off balance right hand
enabling Olson to counter with a crisp jab.
Rockefeller is rocked! Rockefeller throws a lazy uppercut
and Olson counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Rockefeller out cold! What a finish! Olson is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
