Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mikuru Asakura (ranked 2697 p4p, 2309 weight class) and Kim Jung Bin (ranked 228 p4p, 196 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikuru Asakura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kim Jung Bin! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Asakura throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Asakura scores with a jab to the body. Nice shot lands for Asakura.
It looks like Kim Jung Bin has been cut. Asakura keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jung Bin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jung Bin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Asakura counters with a straight right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jung Bin needs to keep his hands up - Asakura had a free shot at his head there. Asakura throws a lazy right hand but Jung Bin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Jung Bin with the counter takedown but Asakura avoids it easily. Jung Bin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Asakura tries to avoid it but Jung Bin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Asakura to the ground. Asakura escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mikuru Asakura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kim Jung Bin. Asakura smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Jung Bin doesn't succeed with the takedown and Asakura counters with a nice uppercut.
Jung Bin is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jung Bin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Asakura counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mikuru Asakura! A relieved looking Mikuru Asakura thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
