Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Da Silva (ranked 3618 p4p, 2657 weight class) and Maxwell Trevino (ranked 408 p4p, 315 weight class). Da Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Zombie - The Cranberries. Trevino is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Chief Keef - Kills. Leandro Da Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leandro Da Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Maxwell Trevino! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Dmitry Maklakov and Sergei Dronov.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trevino shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Trevino was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Da Silva throws Trevino to one side and escapes! Da Silva takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Da Silva shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Trevino is trying to defend but Da Silva finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Da Silva is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Trevino is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Da Silva scores with a couple of nice shots.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Da Silva thows a huge punch but Trevino dodges it nicely.
Da Silva has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Da Silva putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Trevino keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Da Silva takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Da Silva with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Da Silva in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Da Silva controlling from the full mount. Trevino really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Da Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Da Silva raining down shots from the mount!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Da Silva controlling the position easily from mount. Da Silva lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Trevino is desperately trying to improve his position but Da Silva has a good base and remains in mount. Da Silva lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Trevino hang on? Da Silva scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Trevino?
Trevino is trying desperately to improve position. Trevino tries to hold on but Da Silva pushes him away. Trevino is trying to stand but he's just given Da Silva his back. Good control from Da Silva. Da Silva's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Da Silva tries to score a body lock takedown but Trevino shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Da Silva shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Da Silva showed some decent athleticism there. Da Silva keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Trevino can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Da Silva lands strikes from half guard. Da Silva content to control rather than advance. Nice strikes from Da Silva there.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Trevino is looking to control Da Silva's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Trevino avoid being mounted? Trevino is trying to get back to full guard. Trevino wants to get back to full guard but Da Silva has passed into side control.
Da Silva tries for a kimura but Trevino is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Trevino takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Trevino is looking to reverse the position. Trevino seems a little lost for a moment, as Da Silva dominates the positioning. Trevino tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Da Silva working the ground and pound effectively.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Trevino tries to lock up and control but Da Silva gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Da Silva controlling from the full mount.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Da Silva prevents Trevino from getting the reversal. Da Silva looking to control and managing it successfully. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Trevino tries to reverse the position but Da Silva maintains control. Da Silva raining down hammerfists from mount. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Trevino goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Trevino tries to close the distance and clinch but Da Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Da Silva feints and as Trevino raises his hands in defense, Da Silva changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Leandro Da Silva overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Trevino preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Trevino keeping full guard, as Da Silva tries to pass.
Da Silva gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Da Silva feints and as Trevino raises his hands in defense, Da Silva changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Da Silva with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Da Silva distracts Trevino with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Da Silva gets to his feet - Trevino follows without any prompting.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Da Silva scoring well with a low kick there.
Trevino throws a right and a left that both miss. Da Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Da Silva is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Trevino can do to turn this around? Da Silva throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Trevino counters with a lovely shot to the body. Trevino dives in for a single leg takedown but Da Silva sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Trevino takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Da Silva dodges the punch combination from Trevino.
An inside leg kick from Trevino misses. Da Silva was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Da Silva. Trevino shoots in looking for a takedown but Da Silva manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Trevino's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. and Da Silva counters with a single leg into guard. Trevino didn't expect that. Da Silva advances to half guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Da Silva lands with a punch from half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Da Silva looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Da Silva stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Trevino to get to his feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Da Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Trevino to the mat! Trevino manages to get full guard.
Da Silva gets to his feet. Trevino looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Da Silva shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Da Silva was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Trevino tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Da Silva content just to control the position here.
Da Silva goes for an armbar but he's not got it� Trevino turns into him and now he's in Da Silva's guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Trevino slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Trevino cracks Da Silva with a big right hand but Da Silva just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Da Silva is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Trevino off and has taken his back! Trevino is really stuck here.
Maxwell Trevino has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Leandro Da Silva is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Trevino is trying to get back to his feet but Da Silva has full control of the position and if anything, Trevino has just worked his way into a worse spot.
And that's the end of the fight! Leandro Da Silva showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Da Silva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
