Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kyung Ho Kang (ranked 3813 p4p, 3914 weight class) and Devour Malat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kyung Ho Kang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Devour Malat!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malat shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Malat moves in looking to clinch but Kang pushes him off.
Kang is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Malat.
Kang takes the fight into the clinch.
Malat tries to pull guard but Kang holds him up against the cage and eventually Malat drops back down to his feet.
Kang ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kang no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Kang looking for a sweep. Not yet Kang, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Malat postures up.
Kang is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Malat is aware though and is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Malat preventing the sweep.
Malat throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kang works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Malat is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Malat throwing strikes from guard but Kang blocks nicely.

Kang tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kang wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Malat manages to pass to side control.
Kang is trying to maintain the position but Malat is very close to passing his half guard.
Malat is working for a submission of some sort.
Kang keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kang is looking for a sweep. Malat is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kang manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Malat moves into range and clinches up with Kang.
Malat is trying to pull guard but Kang turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Kyung Ho Kang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devour Malat.
Kang tries to pull guard but Malat forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Malat pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Malat tries to clinch there but Kang circles away.
Malat throws a series of strikes that have Kang backpedaling.
Malat is looking to clinch but Kang is avoiding it.
Kang half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Malat closes the distance and clinches up with Kang, looking for a takedown. Malat pushes Kang against the cage but Kang circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Malat moves into range and clinches up with Kang.
Kang will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Malat up against the cage.
Malat has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kang after a bit of a struggle.
Kang decides to pull guard.
Kang is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Malat frees his head nicely. Oh but Kang has switched to an armbar! Malat is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
