Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcel Gruber (ranked 4154 p4p, 3679 weight class) and Ching Chong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gruber comes to the cage accompanied by Side to Side. Chong has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcel Gruber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 22 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ching Chong!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jorge Garcia and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chong steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Gruber. That one must have hurt.
Chong looks winded!
Gruber scoring well with a low kick there.
Gruber digs a good body shot into Chong's ribs.
Gruber tests Chong's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Gruber throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chong stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nice uppercut there from Gruber.
Chong is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Gruber just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Chong has gone limp and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Marcel Gruber!
After winning the bout, Marcel Gruber thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
